A quick guide to Telly League

The game in a nutshell

Telly League is related to real live football: you anticipate in a division with other contestants and fight to get promoted or to avoid getting relegated

Just as in a football league the goal is to get most points. A season is typically 24 rounds and is completed roughly over a month.

The fixtures are first and most shown on TV.

Points and money

You are given virtual 100,000 Credits to start with. In all rounds you can make money on a single match. Betting on a favorite will cost you a given amount while betting on a underdog is free. You can earn money if you bet on a underdog. Every goal the underdog scores will earn you the amount the favorite costs.

Points is given from the match you are betting on: a win for your team get you 3 points, a draw 1 point and a defeat 0 point. Please look at the example for further info.

An example

A match between Chelsea (20,000 Credits ) and Liverpool finishes with a 3-3 draw.
You have placed your bet on the underdog Liverpool and that means you will earn:

3 x 20,000 = 60,000 Credits

If your underdog takes home a 0-0 draw you will also earn money. The amount will be the same as the price set for the favorite (in the example 20,000 Credits ).
